From the idea to the finished product
The ice plant is a classic desert plant that is able to survive under the most adverse conditions – for example drought and extreme exposure to the sun’s rays. Here were unanswered questions to challenge and drive the researchers: "How does the ice plant do it?" And: “How can this plant be used for the benefit of human beings?”
Annette Greco, head of the department for the galenic development of WALA Medicines and Dr.Hauschka Med products, teamed up with the Greifswald Institute for Pharmaceutical Biology to shed some light on these questions.
